Charge Ahead

With more than 780 lb-ft of torque, the Silverado EV generates extraordinary power thanks to the groundbreaking Ultium Platform. Silverado EV models available at the initial release date can be equipped to tow up to 10,000 pounds, and Chevy intends to follow with a 20,000-pound towing capacity for WT models released in the future. When the Silverado EV’s batteries are fully charged, it offers a 400-mile travel range, and the Level 2 charging setup allows you to power up your vehicle with 240 volts at home. If you’re on the road, you’ll be able to power up all along the way with more than 43,000 public charging stations available today.

Serious Storage Capacity

If you have luggage, groceries, or other gear, you can take advantage of an unexpected feature within the pickup market–a trunk. Because the Silverado EV doesn’t need a conventional engine, the space under the hood can be utilized for additional storage. This extra cargo space lets you free up the truck bed for bulkier items, allowing you to carry large cargo like a kayak in the back while coolers and vests go up front.

A Trim for Any Situation

Chevrolet has designed an array of trim levels for the Silverado EV, with three options available at the time of its fall 2023 release. To start the trim range strong, the hearty Silverado EV WT, or Work Truck, kicks things off with an approachable price point and all the muscle you need for your toughest trailering duties. If you like traveling off the beaten path, the adventurous Silverado EV Trail Boss is eager to go with all-terrain tires and other off-road adaptations. If you want to pair your Chevy power with luxe-level amenities, the Silverado RTS is the electric truck for you.

Inside the Silverado EV RST

Along with its incredible power and rugged durability, the Silverado EV also offers a quality passenger experience, especially if you opt for the range-topping RST trim. This upscale model promises premium interior comforts and high-quality furnishings throughout its roomy cab. The cushioned and supportive seating comes in smooth leather upholstery complete with two-tone coloration, and light filters in through a panoramic fixed-glass roof. By placing the shifter on the column instead of the console, Chevy also offers more storage room up front, while both rows provide ample legroom.

What is the charge rate for Silverado EV?

Standard DC Fast Charging1 capabilities of up to 350 kW enable the Silverado EV First Edition RST to get GM-estimated 100 miles of range in only 10 minutes on public DC Fast Chargers. We will share more on Level 1 and Level 2 charging capabilities closer to launch.

What is the PowerBase charging system?

When combined with the available accessory power bar, the Silverado EV PowerBase charging system offers up to 10 outlets, providing a total of 10.2k W of all-electric power for worksite or recreational needs with the required equipment. Silverado EV is also capable of charging another compatible EV using the available accessory charge cord, sharing its power in times of need.

What is the towing capacity of the Silverado EV?

Silverado EV will offer a range of towing capabilities from 8,000 lbs. to 20,000 lbs1 depending on trim selection and battery size. Additionally, Silverado EV will offer an Advanced Trailering System with up to 14 different camera views2, 4-Wheel Steer, which offers great trailering dynamics, and Super CruiseTM3 with trailering — the industry’s first true hands-free driver-assistance technology, allowing drivers to travel hands-free on more than 200,000 miles of compatible roads across the U.S. and Canada.
